that pool
I did not like that I was charged for 2 children in my room. It was myself and two children. I thought it was going to be $178 for 2 night plus service and tax. I was charged additional $20 for the children. If I had know I was going to be charged extra for the children I would have not stayed at your place as I could of booked a room at Golden Eagle for less money.

The accommodation here is fantastic, with a good pool, exceptionally comfortable beds, fresh fruit, and eggs, all in spacious and modern rooms.

The breakfast was hot and adequate, with plenty of fresh fruit and eggs. The location was amazing and fantastic, for example, Stowe Country Club was a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel. You could walk to the Farmer's market and a market.

The closeness to many Ski resorts was nice.The reservation was poorly handled but the hotel offered to rectify the mistake by upgrading our reservation
The booking made on line was made 3 months in advance we had a confirmation. We called 24 hrs before to assure our reservation..On arrival we were informed that there was a mix up in the reservation and we would have to move rooms on our third night.

The beds are very comfy. the central heating is excellent. - There are many choices for breakfast such as fresh fruit and eggs. - the location is great and beautiful, right next to Charlie B's.

It is a very reasonably priced. The staff couldn't have been nicer and more helpful and they go out of their way to treat their guests well. My room was huge. It had a king size bed, a sofa-bed and two double beds in a loft. It looked out on a lawn, a small river and hills beyond. A miniature golf course was between the parking lot and the highway and it shielded the room from the highway noise (not that the highway was all that busy). I'd definitely stay there again.
There are no negatives that I can think of.

Excellent location...close to center of Stowe, yet easy access to other areas of interest: Trapp Family Lodge, restaurants, Smuggler's Notch, etc. The staff were polite and very helpful and accommodating. The breakfasts in the Morning Room were excellent...adequate choices, freshly baked goodies, pleasant atmosphere.
I have only ONE suggestion. The bathtub had NO grab handle for getting in and out of the tub. This was especially tough for us senior citizens.
